Childbirth and Breastfeeding Classes

Planting the Seeds for a Positive Birth

Whether you plan to give birth in a hospital or at home, with or without medication, scheduled cesarean or VBAC, this 4-week class series will prepare you to cultivate the childbirth experience you desire.

Topics include how to deal with common pregnancy discomforts, exercises to help both your mind and body get ready to give birth, birth options, what to expect during labor and the birth process, pain management options, comfort techniques, postpartum care, and newborn care.

Plan to include your support persons, up to 2 people.

Comfort and Coping Class

This 2-hour class will be a quick review of the labor process and focus on techniques that will bring you comfort while you are in labor and giving birth. Ideal for people who have already given birth but want to brush up on comfort measures for an unmedicated birth.

Plan to include your support persons, up to 2 people.

Planting the Seeds for Confident Breastfeeding

Whether you are breastfeeding for the first time, are supporting a breastfeeding mom, or just want to know more about breastfeeding, this 1-hour class will help get you off to a great start and point you to some helpful resources.
